Andy is the youngest son of Shannon Johnston. He has been Cameron Crowe's assistant, working on Almost Famous and Vanilla Sky. In 2005 he was Associate Producer for Elizabethtown. The story of the Sarasota Premiere. Of Elizabethtown was in October 2005. Ken and I saw a piece of Vanilla Sky being shot in New York, in November 2000. Ken and Shannon's Travel-log. No pictures, but a story of our 1992 early retirement. Still no pictures. A story of our trip to Branson, MO. (You'd love Branson.). In 1996 we took a cruise around Alaska, with friends from Laurel Oak in Sarasota. Each stop is in some detail, so if you're ever going on an Alaskan cruise, you could learn something about side trips you may want to take. Seward was my favorite stop because we got to take a ride on a sled pulled by the Idadarod dogs.

Trip to a Tropical Fish Farm. April 26, 2001. In a fish nursery eggs are hatched, then moved to larger and larger tanks where they can grow. The ones to the left are a beautiful shade of blue. Tom, Kathy, Hal and Ken. You can see the smaller tanks where eggs hatch to Tom's left. The bigger tanks on the left side of the picture are made of concrete (Tom says they are burial vaults without the top - really! These pairs produce hundreds of eggs every week. Some fish lay eggs on a piece of rock (see left).
