The scoliosis saga ”. 3 Weeks Post Op ›. April 27, 2012. It’s official. Surgery is scheduled for June 1. With Dr. Skaggs and Dr. Goldstein assisting. Finding a date that fit in with everyone’s lives both doctors, hubby, mom, work wasn’t easy, and everyone had to compromise a little, but I’ve learned there’s no perfect time. But on a positive note I’m now 1 1/2 inches taller, have a waist, and I’ve lost about 5 pounds despite the added hardware!
