It still seems a little strange that one of the world's most famous cities is waiting for us at the mouth of this river that is currently flanked by such greenery. We pass over and past couple of bridges, the one above was especially picturesque, until we got within sight of the big apple. We step off the bus at 8 th. Avenue and set about finding the nearest Chipotle.

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. And not a chippy in sight. New England is famed for lobster, as well as other varieties of fish, and clam chowder. Sunday, March 30, 2008. One of the big ones. One of the most commonly pictured and referred to sights in America. It is the Grand Canyon. It's a wide canyon for sure and the river that caused most of the carving, the Colorado, seems but a thin brown line at the canyon's floor.
