The previously 'seemingly-never-ending-to-do-list' is now actually starting to shrink! I received all my vaccinations today. My appointment was with Sister Linda Crause. At the Northcliff Travel Doctor Clinic. Organised by Sanofi Pasteur. She was absolutely wonderful. First thing she did was hand me a map of Africa and said: "Show me your route". Drumming fri...

Around Africa On My Motorbike. Saturday, 30 April 2011. So despite my flu, I decided to carry on today. Hanret first suggested that I maybe try and just do short distances until I get better. Good idea! I already started getting itchy feet yesterday! So today was the stretch between Malmesbury and Moorreesburg. Not far. Only 36Km.but was tough! Partly because Im ill and partly because of all the gear Im carrying! The heavy load is fabulous on the downhills, but drags you to snails pace on the uphills!
