The ramblings of me: amymelissa. Sunday, May 13, 2012. I have been listening to LifeFM a lot recently - it's a 40 minute drive to and from work. There are 2 songs that I hear on a regular basis that I have fallen in love with. Long Way Home - Steven Curtis Chapman. This song has an amazing message about our journey together with God. Hold Me - Jamie Grace (feat Toby Mac). I love the feel of this song, and the artist is only 20! Saturday, May 5, 2012. On Monday Jesse and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniv...

The ramblings of me: amymelissa. Saturday, October 20, 2012. Malaysia - Day 15. Day 15 - Sunday 30 September:. Our final day in Malaysia. We awoke, showered and packed our bags for the trip back home to Australia. I was slightly nodding off during the sermon (it was a guest pastor - from Zen and Terrance's church! But I don't know if it was tiredness or my cold, but I just couldn't concentrate. After the service we stayed around briefly for a drink, photos (all of the girls got around Dan and Cameron!

The ramblings of me: amymelissa. Sunday, April 14, 2013. Thai-style Salmon and Salad. This is a delicious recipe I have adapted from this original one. I have been having so much fun cooking and experimenting! This one is a definite winner. It serves 2, but is very easy to adapt for more (in fact, the marinade will probably do for up to 4 salmon fillets). Small bunch coriander, washed. 2 green chillies, seeded and chopped. 3 tablespoons lime juice. 1 tablespoon fish sauce. 100g thin vermicelli noodles.

The ramblings of me: amymelissa. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Well, what a weekend! It all started Wednesday night. From work Jesse, Andrew and I all drove up to Gretel's house in Renmark to begin our long weekend. On Saturday by the time everyone had gone through the shower and had breakfast it was about 10.30am. A few people went for a walk down at the river. I opted to stay home and read - it was still hot outside! While they were out I did the breakfast dishes and made lunch - burritos! I had a sick fee...

The ramblings of me: amymelissa. Saturday, March 17, 2012. Whoops, it's been a couple weeks since I posted. I'm such a bad blogger. But please excuse me, I have been wrapped up in some of the most fast paced action books I have ever read. Matthew Reilly is an Australian author, and I have fallen in love with his books. The first book I read of his was called. I saw it at Kmart and after reading the blurb I knew I could not put it back. Would you? IT IS THE GREATEST BOUNTY HUNT IN HISTORY. And have starte...

The ramblings of me: amymelissa. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Just yesterday I finished the book This Charming Man. Paddy de Courcy is Ireland's debonair politician, the "John F. Kennedy Jr. of Dublin." His charm and charisma have taken hold of the country and the tabloids, not to mention our four heroines: Lola, Grace, Marnie, and Alicia. But though Paddy's winning smile is fooling Irish minds, the broken hearts he's left in his past offer a far more truthful look into his character. Herb and Tomato Sauce.
