Elder Benjamin Arnold: November 2009
http://elderbenjaminarnold.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 24, 2009. I just realized that I haven't told you about the Llamas family. I remembered to bring my journal this time so I'll copy some of it over:. After hearing him I feel so much more connected to the spirit. I feel more open to receiving personal revelation. Elder Garrett responded, "Es la verdad." We committed him to come and he said for sure he would.' It is incredible what happens when the spirit guides. This is God's work. His hand is in our lives everyday. They immediately turn...

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. August 11, 2010. Meeting in the Tri-cities. The meeting went well over the four days we were in the tri-cities. I got to go and work in Pasco during the evenings and had some amazing experiences. I forgot how much I missed Pasco and the people there. I don't have any more time so I'll tell you some other day about all the stuff that happened in those days. Love you all and have a great week. Posted by Linda Arnold. Elder Benjamin Arnold: December 2009
http://elderbenjaminarnold.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Of course transfers happened this last week. Elder Hortin got here on Wednesday afternoon. He's from Smithfield, Utah, which is near Logan. He came out at the same time as Elder Blomquist. He's served in Yakima and Sunnyside. I don't know if you remember last year when we talked to you for Christmas. We used a member’s newspaper store. He has four lines there so we can be all talking at the same time. I'll call you at 9:45 our time which is 10:45 your time. I believe that I ...

Elder Benjamin Arnold: June 2010
http://elderbenjaminarnold.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 29, 2010. We moved out of the Boyle's home today. There were some changes in ward boundaries in the stake and they ended up redoing all of the missionary housing. Some missionaries even had to change the ward they were serving in. It's still two weeks until transfers. This last Sunday we taught Sister Boyle's Young Women's class. It was a lot of fun. The topic was sharing the gospel. We talked a lot about the Dance Festival and how they could use that experience to share the gos...I got to ...

Elder Benjamin Arnold: March 2010
http://elderbenjaminarnold.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. The Llamas didn't come to church. Gabriel decided that he wants to stay Catholic. It seems like he got antied by one of his family members. We have another lesson set up this next Friday and he did commit to come to one session of general conference. I pray that he comes with his family. Posted by Linda Arnold. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Teach when you find, find when you teach. The work is progressing rapidly in Pasco. The whole stake is getting really involved in Missionary W...

Tuesday, July 6, 2010. We now live with the Nihipali family. They are from Hawaii. They are both very nice and the place we live is pretty good. It's a lot different from the Boyle's. We are living in more of a separate part of the house. So we don't see them quite as much. Elder Bair and I rearranged the furniture and stuff the way we like and we feel at home. Have you ever driven on the wrong side of the road? Just another week in the life of a missionary. Posted by Linda Arnold. Kennewick, WA 99336.

Elder Benjamin Arnold: May 2010
http://elderbenjaminarnold.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 25, 2010. We have transfers again. How did that happen? We find out this Saturday what is going to happen so I'll let you know next P-day. Last P-day we went fishing in a members private pond and caught 8 rainbow trout. We cooked them this last Saturday for lunch. They were really good. Elder Uribe has been sick a lot this last week. Poor guy. He's just about better now. It gave me some time to get our room and area book and journal all organized and up to date. I love you all. This morning ...

Elder Benjamin Arnold: Ben's last mission email
http://elderbenjaminarnold.blogspot.com/2010/08/bens-last-mission-email.html
Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Ben's last mission email. Zone Conference / Elder Ringwood. We continue to have spirit filled lessons with Eddy and Blanca. They both came to church this last Sunday. The coolest things about teaching them are the changes that are taking place in their lives and the added happiness they are finding. I love it. It's the best part about being a missionary. Have a great week. And I'll see you all soon. Posted by Linda Arnold. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kennewick, WA 99336.

A Jolly Holiday: May 2009
http://ajollyholiday.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 15, 2009. Weekend To Do List. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Oh boy, I've got Joy! Things I am grateful for today. That yesterday was as. As any May day gets. It started well, went well, and ended well. Running into old roommates and friends. Letters from sister missionaries. I miss you Amy. The lilac smell in every room. My stealthy bike that sneaks up on people. It's so quiet that one might say it has a magnetohydrodynamic drive. That I ride my bike. Ride to work day. Each morning while eating br...

Elder Benjamin Arnold: July 2010
http://elderbenjaminarnold.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 26, 2010. July 20, 2010. We went bowling today. The first game I scored only an 82. Kind of sad. But then I got 131 the next game! I tried hard to redeem myself. He was a stake president up here in Washington and moved down to Orem when he left. President Alder wanted me to ask you mom and dad if you knew him or could do a little research to see if we're related. We painted a members shed this week with Elder Hortin and Elder Prawitt. I got pretty sunburned from it the first time we help...
